Construction was completed in the fall of 2008 by Ferguson Construction for the 36,360 square foot office building, located in the Next Edge Park on Allium Court in Springfield.

Loaded with custom features, this futuristic building has a state-of-the-art theatre, an education wing and high-tech amenities.

Avetec is a non-profit organization that uses virtual testing environments to research and apply solutions to complex problems. From modeling the interactions of a jet turbine engine to testing emerging technology solutions on real-world networks to improving tomorrow's workforce, Avetec is unleashing the power of virtual testing to enable scientific discovery.

Avetec is a non-profit research organization - one of three organizations that make up the National Aerospace Leadership Initiative (NALI). Avetec and its partners are conducting modeling and simulation to reduce the cost and time it takes to design, develop and test new jet turbine engines.
