Dr. Kevin Sharrett receives Award for Jamestown Family Medicine

Dr. Kevin Sharrett, a medical doctor in the Premier Health Partners network, had a dream of transforming an old manufacturing facility into a state-of-the-art medical facility. Born and raised in Jamestown, Dr. Sharrett wanted to give back to the community he grew up in. Dr. Sharrett’s dream was to provide the people of Jamestown with high-quality care in a convenient and local medical center. Many medical services that were much needed in the community, such as imaging and physical therapy, were almost 20 miles away.
He imagined that the residents of this community would get the same quality of care that they would receive in an urban or suburban medical center. The medical center would include other medical-related services. It would also give Premier Health Partners a medical center in eastern
Greene county, an area Premier and Miami Valley Hospital were hoping to grow in.
Dr. Sharrett found a way to make his dream happen for his hometown and the surrounding rural community by partnering with Miami Valley Hospital and Ferguson Construction Company. The facility was transformed from a dilapidated old manufactuing into a thriving medical facility. Dr. Sharrett's practice is currrently ranked #1 in the Premier Health Partners network.
