ABC's Excellence in Construction (EIC) Program is the night for ABC members to shine, a night for the “best of the best” in construction. This popular program is held yearly to recognize superior construction projects built by member companies. An elegant banquet to recognize the winners is the fitting culmination and takes place in November of each year.
Winning locally in the Dayton Region or nationally is an outstanding accomplishment and is a testament to "merit construction" and the companies who choose to build that way.

Ferguson Construction was awarded this important renovation project in Jamestown, Ohio, by Dr. Kevin Sharrett. The project involved transforming an abandoned manufacturing facility formerly known as Jamestown Plastic Molders into a modern medical center for the community that lives in and around Jamestown, Ohio.
Dr. Kevin Sharrett, a medical doctor in the Premier Health Partners network, had a dream of transforming the old manufacturing facility into a state-of-the-art medical facility. Born and raised in Jamestown, Dr. Sharrett wanted to give back to the community he grew up in. Dr. Sharrett’s dream was to provide the people of Jamestown with high-quality care in a convenient and local medical center. Many medical services that were much needed in the community, such as imaging and physical therapy, were almost 20 miles away.
With the renovation complete, the medical center currently has 5 tenant suites with plans and space for a few additional services such as dentistry and an “after hours” urgent care. Services already available are: Jamestown Family Medicine, Dr. Sharrett’s General Practice, Miami Valley Imaging for x-rays, Specialty Doctors for Cardiology, Orthopedics, and General Surgery, Miami Valley Physical Therapy and an “in-house” pharmacy, IHS Pharmacy.
Martin L. Given, Ferguson Construction’s President said, “Being involved in a project that transforms a community eyesore into a vibrant modern medical facility was both rewarding and challenging. We appreciate the opportunity that Dr. Sharrett gave to Ferguson Construction as well as the confidence he had in our company. This was a tremendous team effort for everyone involved.”
