With only 63 working days to complete the large renovation project at the University of Dayton's Stuart Complex, a large crew of approximately 250 workers have been on-site every day to make sure the job gets done right and on-time.
About 90 Ferguson employees are working on the projects, according to Douglas L. Fortkamp, Vice President of Operations. “We have also issued almost 30 subcontracts to local companies for this project, keeping the work in the Dayton region.” 6 University of Dayton engineering students are also working on the project as interns.
"In order to show our appreciation for everyone's hard work, we wanted to serve lunch for the entire crew," said Ferguson's Human Resources Manager Tom Bergman.
Lunch included grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chips of all kinds, cole slaw, macaroni salad and spaghetti salad.
