Our Lady of the Rosary
April 2009
Originally built in 1889, the original church is now part of the K-8 elementary school. Our Lady of the Rosary Church and School has a long and interesting history in the North Dayton area. To learn more about Our Lady of the Rosary, visit them online at: http://www.olr.cnd.pvt.k12.oh.us/
The renovations included masonry restoration such as:
- Cleaning the bricks
- Replacing the bad mortar
- Replacement of crumbling bricks
- Waterproofing
- Masonry Sealer
The pitched roof, which is almost at a 45 degree angle, was completely re-roofed with 40 year dimensional shingles, new flashing, and copper gutters.
Interior and exterior painting was done, as well as plaster repairs inside.
